The Rakaphosi Base Camp Tour 2025-2026

The Rakaposhi Base Camp Tour is a popular trekking route in Pakistan. Rakaposhi peak rises to 7,788 meters, making it one of the highest mountains in the Karakoram range. The trek covers around 65 kilometers round trip and usually takes 7 to 10 days.

The trail passes through valleys, rivers, and small villages, offering spectacular mountain views. Day Program/Activity
1 Arrival at Islamabad airport and transfer to hotel. Sightseeing in Islamabad and Rawalpindi, visit the local market. Overnight in Islamabad
2 Drive to CHILAS (10-12 HRS) via Babusar Pass or Karakorum Highway or Fly to Gilgit. Overnight in Chilas/Gilgit
3 Drive to Karimabad Hunza. Visit Baltit and Altit Forts. Overnight in Karimabad (Hotel).
 4 Excursion to Duiker (Eagles Nest) and Ganesh village. Drive to Minapin village (01 hour). Traditional Dinner at Local restaurant. Overnight stay in Minapin (Hotel).
5 Trek towards Hapakun it will take 3 hours from Minapin & it’s about 6 km uphill. Overnight stay in Hapakun (Camping Site).
6 Trek towards Tagaphri its about 3300 meters from the sea level it would take 2 hours & its about 3 KM uphill. You can see Rakaposhi & Diran peak RAKAPOSHI, and the interlaced ice wall finally you get a complete view. Overnight stay in Tagaphri (camping site).
7 Relax day to go on the glacier and return to the Minapin for the night. Overnight stay in Minapin (Hotel).
8 Drive towards Chilas it will take 5 hours. Visit Gilgit Market (Bazar). Overnight stay in Chilas (Hotel).
9 Drive to Islamabad (8-10 HRS) via Babusar Pass or Karakorum Highway. Farwell dinner at Islamabad.
10 Drop off at Airport.
