Exploration of the Tirich Mir Base Camp Trek & Kalash Valley.

Islamabad – Tak-I-Bai -Lower & Upper Dir-Kalash-Chitral-Tirich Mir Basecamp-Chitral-Swat-Islamabad

Trekking the Tirich Glacier to the base camp of Tirich Mir 7708m, also known as Babu camp 4724m, named for our seasoned guide Babu Mohammed, will take you right into the heart of the high Hindukush Mountains. Along the way are several notable 7000-meter peaks, including Istor Nal at 7403 metres and Noshaq at 7492 metres. Hindukush Trekking to Tirich Mir Base Camp There are two alternative routes that can be taken: the Zani Pass, which is recommended for acclimatization before to the high trip, or the Torkhow Valley. It is possible to combine this journey with other hikes in the area.

Few people travel to the desolate and arid mountain landscape known as the Hindukush, which is located outside of the monsoon season.

Numerous little villages can be found in the picturesque Trich valley, which is also highly fertile.

Day	Program/Activity
1	Arrive at Islamabad airport and transfer to the hotel. Sightseeing in Islamabad and Rawalpindi, visit the local market. Overnight in Islamabad
2	After breakfast departure for Upper Dir, 6-7 hours about 330 KM. en-route visit the well-preserved monastery of Takhat-e-Bai near Mardan. Overnight in Upper Dir (Hotel).
3	Drive to Ayun Valley gateway to the Kalash valleys it’s about 125 km & it will take 4 hours, afternoon visit Ayun town. Overnight in Ayun (Hotel).
4	Start day tour towards Bumburet and Rumbur the Kalash valleys. Late evening back to Chitral. Overnight in Chitral (Hotel).
5	Trekking to Zani Pass: The first trekking day. Trek toward the Zani pass it’s about 3840 meters altitude. It takes about 5-6 hours to pass. Overnight in Camping.
6	Zani Pass – Shahgrom: Trek descends to Shahgrom at an altitude of 2760 metres in 3-4 hours. Overnight in Camping.
7	Shahgrom-Sheiniak: Trek for four or five hours to Sheiniak across dry, rocky terrain and willow/scree. 3540 metres above sea level. Overnight in camp.
8	Sheiniak-Shugurbaisum: Hike behind the glacier to the Shugurbaisum moraine at the Altitude of 4038 meters. It will take 5-6 hours. Overnight in Camping.
9	Shugurbaisum-Tirich Mir base camp: In the morning after breakfast, we will trek along the glacier to Tirich Mir base camp. Overnight camping in base camp.
10	Tirich Mir Base Camp. Relax day at the base camp. Exploration around Tirich Mir base camp. Overnight camping in base camp.
11	Base Camp – Shugurbaisum: In the morning after breakfast, we go back trekking to Shugurbaisum. Overnight camping in Shugurbaisum.
12	Shugurbaisum – Sheiniak: After breakfast in the morning we go back to Sheiniaki. Farwell Dinner at the last camping. Overnight camping in Sheiniak.
13	Sheiniak – Chitral: After breakfast in the morning we will return to Shahgrom and then drive to Chitral. Overnight in Chitral (Hotel).
14	In the morning we will drive to Swat. Visit around the swat Market (Bazar). Overnight stay in Swat (Hotel).
15	In the morning drive towards Islamabad. Visit to Taxila museum on the way to Islamabad. Overnight stay in Islamabad (Hotel).
16	Drop you at the airport to take the flight back home sweet home.
